We had a great crowd at our November dance – the day after Thanksgiving! Many familiar faces home for the holiday appeared on the dance floor including Ben Sachs-Hamilton, a Mad Robin who “flew the coop” and moved to the Boston area last year. Ben has kept up his calling down in the big city: Mary ran into him doing a guest spot at the Jamaica Plain gender-free dance in October and he’s also been calling at the MIT contra dance. Go Ben!
Darren, Don, Guillaume, Peter and Mary all took turns at the mic and we had wonderful tunes from two of our local favorites: Brian Perkins and Malcolm Sanders. We ended with a song: “Dona Nobis Pacem.” We are thankful for our supportive dance community and fellow Mad Robins and for dancing, of course!
