Luke Donforth is a 
contra caller, choreographer, musician, and dancer. As a caller, he brings a warm and inviting playfulness to the stage. He is based in Burlington, VT; but is willing to travel to share the joy of dancing (VT, NH, MA, ME, NY, CT, OK, TX, GA, WI, and CA so far).
Luke calls new and traditional contras at weekly dances, festivals, barn dances, weddings, and parties. If you need it, he can help find a band for your event as well.
Weather and schedule permitting, Luke has been known to bring truffles to sell at regular dances. Contra dancers often want to take home the fabulous music of the bands they hear, but not the caller calling. Instead of a caller CD, enjoy the rich smoothness of hand-crafted truffles.
